So, technically my second post was about “changing traffic laws.” I received this comment today:

Silentrapture,
I am afraid you have been duped by the an e-mail and internet hoax that has been going around since last fall. In your blog posting the traffic and cell phone usage fines are incorrect. Please go to our website at http://www.wsp.wa.gov/newsfaqs/release.htm#Oct. An October press release by the Washington State Patrol has debunked this e-mail. The press release also lists what the actual traffic laws and fines that changed on January 1, 2008.
We also confirmined that the name used in the e-mail is phoney. There is no person by that name working for the Seattle Transportation Planning Office.

I feel special. I got government attention.
On the other hand, it’s kind of scary that they found that post. I just started this blog; it’s not like I’m popular or anything. I mean, do they have search filters looking for that text, or is someone constantly searching the net for certain keywords? Some government agent could be reading this right now. >.>
*brrr*
Interesting and kind of creepy…you might want to update your facebook notes too, it still has the original post
Nice site!
