Strong emotions spark many thoughts and memorable actions.
Whether these emotions, thoughts, and actions are good or bad varies, but I think that it’s a fairly accurate chain of occurances.
Here’s a collection of thoughts, quotes, and other random soundbites of life.
- “Take all the things you hate about yourself – throw them away. Now take all the things about yourself that you like – hold them up, treasure them. It’s something that we all need to do, but that we don’t do often enough.”
- “Take all the memories you have of her, all the good times, and dust the hurt off them; those don’t need to hurt you.”
- “It’s okay – you’re only human.” “I don’t want to be.”
- “It’s hard to not throw ourselves online, to make our information and lives public. We’re hoping that somehow, our feelings will find their way to that special person who understands them.”
- “Is it good to make an unrealistic goal to help you get through the day, or to give in to despair and hope you can swim out of it?”
- “Communication is irreversible.”
- “I can deal with logical issues, philosophical issues; but you give me something emotional and I’m overwhelmed. That’s why it’s easier for me to find reasons to push on than to give up.”
- “There’s no such thing as a platonic relationship: it’s either an eternally one-sided love or bad timing.”
- “Music is my lifeblood: It influences my emotions, gives me hope, plunges me into despair.”
- “We have to learn the hard way because we want to believe it won’t happen to us.”
- “The long, long vacation…is over.”
- “It’s so hard to look back at everything, past to present, and wonder if it was all a lie.” “Think of it this way: it was true at the time.”
- “I’ve lived in search of love – that’s why I take my relationships so seriously.”
- “It’s hard just…living, now. Everywhere I look, I see a little bit of her, of us.”
Maybe I’ll add more lighthearted thoughts later, but I’m in a little more of a, ah, low mood right now.
